The Magic of Singularity & its Analogy.

Singularity :

Singularity, the state of being singular is correlated and interpreted in many ways in science & technology as well as in various philosophies. The singularity in this context is the singularity in physics, the big bang where the time begun according to physics as we know it.

The two clearly distinct theories upon which modern physics rests are general relativity & quantum mechanics. General relativity focuses on gravity for understanding stars, galaxies etc. On the other hand quantum mechanics governing laws for the physics of atoms, molecules etc. So if the universe started out in a singularity of the point with infinite density, the magical event where the quantum mechanics collides with general relativity portraying how micro and macro of the universe are intertwined.

Science already used analogy in nature to develop technologies in many ways like bio inspired designs, intelligence etc. for new opportunities and problem solving. In the same we can get inspired from the science with its own analogy in our life as well. There are many thoughts, theories relating the outer space to our inner space describing how we as a microcosm enfolded in the universe and within us enfolded the entire universe. As microscopic & macroscopic phenomena unified in the singularity it can be compared to our life in various way on many levels with its astonishing beauty just like ‘the Big Bang’.

Analogical Magic :

Love :

The first analogy comes into my mind is Love, the beautiful & amazing emotional state of mind where you feel strong and weak at the same time, strong by giving us strength to achieve it and weak with fear of losing it making us to make each move carefully, both simultaneously can lead us to sustain love of our life. In fact in Christopher Nolan’s sci-fi blockbuster Interstellar signifying the epicness of enduring love as the thing we’re capable of perceiving that transcends dimensions of time and space. Allen L Ronald mentions in his article that heart’s desire is to love so deeply that we become one with source & transcend not only the speed of light but also gravity in the process, relating existence of wormhole through the realm of love. Well enough to say love is best analogy of singularity. Carl Sagan in his quote, ‘For small creatures such as we the vastness is bearable only through love’.

Subconscious mind : Dream

Subconscious mind, mysterious place is another analogy where a micro state is enabling us to enter into another limitless macro state. During sleep we totally shut off our thinking process of mind but next thing in sleep you are flying a spacecraft to the Europa (moon of Jupiter) for space exploration to extend humanity in solar system, which won’t happen in our day to day life. The adventurous experience a way beyond any possible adventures in our real life. The things we experience in dream so easily which is sometime merely impossible or quite challenging in real life just like space mission to Europa is challenging for space agencies itself as its longer distance as well as gravitational influence of Jupiter, hence Mars first :) . In another Christopher Nolan’s brainy blockbuster ‘Inception’ depicting an idea of implanting an artificial memories or thought into the brain of subconscious state while sleeping with use of unlimited creative imagination because anything possible when you are dreaming. The idea of Inception in the movie is scary but it could show the immensity of our subconscious mind at our command. Hence our second best analogy of singularity is our subconscious mind as it is directly linked to the quantum field of infinite possibilities.

Creativity dovetailed with Visionary :

Creativity (micro), an outcome of going into micro state of being focused with greater depth & intense concentration with limitless appetite for knowledge & curiosity in childlike way, having a sense of wonder & ability to look at thing as in fresh with goal of doing it differently.  Here concentration can act as a wormhole to take us towards our goal in a shortest path with sense of nonconformity just to avoid distraction & to have Eureka moments in your life. Also creativity cannot be learned externally from someone or observing geniuses, it has to be experienced or originated out of you because it is auto-catalytic, more you use it more you will have it.

Visionary (macro), a state of being open to old as well as new information to map them on imagination with high conviction and persistence to make predictions with the sense of quickness to adopt new information & to map on realigned imagination to have accurate predictions and it is too auto-catalytic in nature :)

So when accurate prediction from visionary is combined with creativity we have analogical singularity which can create revolutionary outcomes. We have few examples of such singularities as Steve Jobs, Thomas Edison who were not only creative inventors but also visionary leaders.

Characteristics :

Singularity analogy can be found in many movie or real life characters. For example superhero fictional characters in movies shown to have two personalities (micro & macro) and both have their own importance. Micro personality will be ordinary life like Peter Parker (in Spiderman) and macro personality as Spiderman. Both personalities have its benefits as well as limitations. With micro personality allowing him to live happy real life but no powers to save the world, on the other hand with macro personality which has supernatural powers but life will be reality show. Both personalities together gave him perfect balanced singularity analogical personality. A good attitude is like having the powers of a superhero. Hence, we can relate to the different real life characters as well who believe in touching the sky with feet on ground & have perfect balance of being humble and noble at the same time. It can also of being cool & nerd at the same time.

Religious Thought :

There can be singularity analogy to religious thought too, as in Hindu Puranas mentioned that everything came from subtler than the atom, greater than the greatest. Jesus may be the ideal example of Singularity as he mentioned as the same perfect in divinity and perfect in humanity, the same truly God and truly man. Japanese philosophy wabi-sabi seeing the singular beauty in imperfections or suffering.  Buddhist meditation, space where our inner space(microcosm) merges with outer space(macrocosm) giving thought ‘No matter whether you are a believer or a non-believer, religious or not religious, a Christian, Hindu, or a scientist, black or white, an Easterner or a Westerner, the most important thing to know is your own mind and how it works.’

Science of Small :

Getting smaller have immense significance in solving gigantic problems as things at nano level behave differently emerging amazing new properties. Micro technologies solving macro problems which are impossible with classical technologies. For example, as miniaturizing computing hardware, when  transistor size reduces to an atom with use of superposition state of electron (like Schrödinger's cat), it can have exponential speed with massive parallel computation capability which can solve very complex problem with enormous number of variables that classical computers can take thousands years to solve. Nanobots, steering through our veins to repair cells or when ionized with electric field can be boosted with speed of light to make interstellar travel possible. Quantum tunneling process drives fusion process in stars as well as DNA mutation & evolution of life. A sprawling web of nanosensors can maps the Mars terrain which can be used for making Mars virtual reality software which NASA is developing in collaboration with Microsoft.

Timelessness :

The big bang singularity is timeless as time just begun there, hence being  timeless is another analogy to the singularity. Also when something moves at speed of light their time stops that means it will be timeless. Black hole can make anything to move at speed of light because of huge mass at its centre which is a gravitational singularity which is timeless because of exponential time dilation. Hence analogy of singularity to the singularity, which is violating the meaning of analogy itself [lol]. This particular thought bit crazy and nothing can gain speed of light. But still as we considered being timeless as a analogy, all great people who will be remembered forever & became timeless in the history because their greatness are our examples.

Quest :

We are living in such dimension within mysterious deep boundaries which yet to be understood. On macro level ‘The dark energy’ causing universe to expand deep outside towards where is unknown & beyond imaginations, on the other hand on micro level search for ‘God particles’ on subatomic level still continues deep inside with discoveries of new particles deeper & deeper. Hence our quest continues to understand these extreme mysteries outward as well as inward with our consciousness which itself is deep mystery.

There can be many more analogies... 

So when we transition ourselves from duality (micro vs macro) to singularity by tuning our macro attributes to the micro nature inside us, we can vibe with it to keep inspiration in some form around us like shadow and that’s the magic of analogical singularity.

"You are my destiny" says ‘The Subconscious Positivity’ to ‘The Dream’

Yes it is absolutely true, they are destined to find each other & become true in reality. As we know only love is real, ‘The Subconscious Positivity’ was, is & will be in truly love with ‘The Dream’ forever. But one has to understand, it is possible only & only when they are pure, genuine & self originated.

So let’s get introduced to them

The Dream is the one which is unpretentious originates deep within you, imagined purely by yourself & stay alive in you all the time with what , where & how you are. It cannot be implanted by others in your mind, no matters how much resource anybody put externally to divert your dream to accomplish somebody else’s, it simply cannot replace  The Dream. Same like egg story, if it hatches from inside life begins & the same ends if broken from outside.

The Subconscious Positivity, the mysterious thing inside you is so pure & genuine that it will only fall for The Dream, is really mysterious & prefer to be happy in that way. Hence cannot be explained by you to yourself & others of course, in fact that might be the reason for saying that successful people always have two things smile & silence as they don’t waste their energy in explaining the reasons for their being crazy or passionate for certain things until they succeed to achieve it.

So when you have ‘The Dream’ the cupid inside your mind will hit ‘The Subconscious Positivity’ with arrow so it can work magically controlling your actions & reactions, revolutionary brain transactions to move forward in the direction of The Dream to find it & making true for you.

History Of Exploration

The everlasting quest for exploration is in our DNA since the origin of humans in Africa two hundred thousand years ago and we all descended from that small handful group of people with explorer’s gene who made their way out of Africa and spread human race by colonizing the rest of the world in spite of geographic problem with lack of technology back then. Since then with the technological advancement throughout the centuries brave explorers traveled the globe and beyond to extend our knowledge like 14th century’s Christopher Columbus to the first person to walk on moon Neil Armstrong.

Future in Space

‘I think the human race has no future if it doesn’t go into space’- Stephen Hawking. The search is already begun for possible life into the space with telescopes like Hubble & Kepler discovering potential earth like planets few light years away but interstellar mission is long way to go with current technology, but as recently Stephen Hawking announced we can reach our nearest star system, Alpha Centauri (4.3 light years away) within 20 years with project ‘Breakthrough Starshot’ which current fastest spacecraft would take 30000 years . But our current technology is sufficient enough to take us to our nearest possible home in our solar system, Planet Mars.

Mars Rover Quote

Mars exploration is the first step to the new era of human space exploration before reaching nearby stars to explore Earth like exoplanets in future to understand fraction of many mysteries of the universe. If you read this post title again which is a very inspiring quote indeed. The fascinating thing about it is this thought is originated from the names of three successful rovers NASA sent for Mars exploration which are Spirit (MER-A), Opportunity (MER-B) and Curiosity (MSL) to investigate the habitability of Mars. For centuries Mars has held humankind of imagination and we have come closer than ever when NASA sent these rovers to unravel some of the red planet secrets and inspired us to envision the possibility of colonizing Mars .

 Inspiration

The above quote is perfect example of  how science can inspire us in fact I will say as we are passionate to explore the Mars, all the universe is conspiring in helping us to achieve it or a exploration is an attempt by universe to understand universe itself. The same way as Physicist Michio Kaku’s quote ‘A physicist is an attempt by an atom to understand itself, as physicists are made of atoms ’. Where both atom & universe has their own different theories of physics, microscopic atoms governed by quantum mechanics  whereas macroscopic universe governed by general relativity because theory of everything has not yet been discovered.

Childlike Curiosity

‘We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library’ - Albert Einstein, on our understanding about universe, but as we know children’s have a limitless curiosity to seek knowledge for the new things which might have inspired NASA to name for recent rover who is exploring Mars terrain to develop more understanding believing that it may hold keys to our future and past i.e. origin of our life.

Hopeful Goal

Hence Curiosity should be in our spirit to find new opportunity for a hopeful future of mankind and Mars is our first step towards the future of exploration, our search for knowledge with ultimate goal of understanding singularity as well as new frontiers of space from Mars to the edge of the Universe.
