"Quoteful Shots" with Yogesh Sukal : A day at the museum and surprises.

It was a happy weekend, beautiful sunny day and fresh mind with no plans for the day. Luckily city is still quite new for me and hence many things to explore. Finished with the lunch early, clock shown 12:30 in the afternoon. Left the home unplanned, went to city center and asked Google for nearby attraction and it directed me towards the museum within walking distance and so neurons in the brain processed and transmitted the signals concluding to do quick visit to the museum nearby for the sake of short exploration to feed the curious mind.
Next I followed Google map and somehow missed the main entrance because the place didn’t seem to be museum or palace, climbed the stairs to go more near to place with Google map just like Pokemon go approach 😊. Now I could see the fence. I asked the guys on other side for main entrance and one of them shown me the way they followed. Meanwhile another guy just pushed the small gate just in front of our eyes, but somehow in the interaction over main entrance gate, me and the answering guy didn’t notice the small gate. Next thing the answering guy said that ‘I am stupid’ to the same I replied in Italian ‘anchio’ (me too). We all laughed. Well that’s fun start I said to myself.

So I headed towards the direction of museum, but still museum building was not visible as the place is full of trees and curvy pathways like a mini forest.

Nature is beauty & Beauty is nature,
Self-heals, evolves & nurture.

The place named as villetta di negro, a public park located on hilly area uphill from the piazza Corvetto which is very close to city Centre featuring the uniqueness of Genoa city as it is located between the Apennine mountain and Ligurian sea other side.

I kept walking and there are two ways now for me to go up one was long turn around the hill and the other was short tunnel, I preferred to go through tunnel just to loose phone signal and disconnect from the world for while in the tunnel (lol).

To walk into the darkness I was quite scared,
But the light on other side was promising so I dared.

Finally, with few more steps I arrived at the museum door. After amazed with lively nature, now it’s time to see some sort of art inside the museum, as I didn’t searched what was it about.

The museum was about the Japanese art collection by Genovese artist, an engraver Edoardo Chiossone who engraved the plates for the banknotes for various banks in Europe, for the same reason he moved to Japan and spent his last 23 years in Tokyo. But for me he was one of those explorer who traveled the world in order the bridge the gap and set the connections which we can realize on our fingertips with current social platforms. His destiny took him to Tokyo city which former name was ‘Edo’ capital for the Tokugawa shogunate which are the first three letter of Edoardo’s name, what a coincidence 😊. Paid for the ticket and as entered and voila! surprise.
The floor was ready for the musical buzz.

Coincidently there was musical event about to start in the museum from one of the music school in Genoa. I joined the audience.

It's first time I listened song opera live,
Its unique antique rich melodic special way,

The sweetness of her voice,

Is still echoing in my mind,

Making me that singing event to relive,

Don't know the lyrics & still stole my heart away.

And one by one amazing performances happened, each one of them with their own individuality.

I Had really amazing time, we clapped. The audience dispersed and floor is clear for museum exhibition.

The Buddha : True Psychologist.

As for the years he practiced and tried to understand his own mind which is the only way to understand the mind works.
As story says Buddha after living life of opulence as a prince fulfilling every desire on command, kept away from the suffering. When he realized that it is not the reality, triggered sudden transformation for him from the innocent life to the eagerness for the truth behind the sufferings and ultimate nature of reality and so he left his kingdom for the journey towards the enlightenment.

Samurai’s, the noble warriors lived with the strict code of honor. One has to be highly skillful, morally discipline and brave to get recognize in this prestigious class of people.

Samurai’s always carried the pair of swords named Katana (long sword) and wakizashi (short sword) as a symbol of samurai and as an extension of a soul. Katana is very well renowned swords in the history of warfare and also proved scientifically the perfection of its making with tailored properties of combined hard and soft steel to sustain the impact with high toughness and brittle enough to get sharp hard cutting edges. And so light that it can even be wielded by child. In fact, in Japanese culture women of the samurai family also had the combat skills.

These are the katanas mountings.

Dedication, suffering and losing his Kingdom,

With moral discipline, mind fullness and wisdom,

Buddha could achieve enlightenment called nirvana,

True Samurai lived with honor & their awe inspiring katana.

Buddha was legend of mind,

So does true Samurai of their kind.

Both Buddha and Samurai had to face the extreme painful transformation to achieve the quality of their being. If Buddha discovered the nirvana which is freedom from the cycle of birth which is not believed in many other religions. No idea what he might have discovered but definitely he might have faced challenges to pass it to the materialistic followers.
Also a warrior monk is a concept found in Japanese cultures of a person who combines the aspects of being a monk and a warrior is example of analogical singularity.

The museum has three floors and so stepped up to the next.

I may sound to be an old school,
But museums can be fun and so cool.

Every museum has spellbinding stories to tell with its sense of tranquility, the ancient art dematerializes in front of your eyes hacking your mind like time warping device changing the dimension around you transporting you into another world, another time, so you can experience the merge of two different philosophies in the same time where ancient thoughts meets the today's scientific mindset inspiring new interpretations, ideas and thoughts by connecting the dots which can be the addition of something new to the world in the current moment and soon will be the history and reference to next generation and cycle continues.
But I am not sure that by this way we understand more and more about our reality with time or just circling in the delusion as a butterfly effect of the understandings passed to us by our ancestors in science and philosophy.
Obviously I am materializing my experience again in terms of my blog, although words can’t express exact experiences 😊

The museum was about collection of items antique from sixteenths century,

Art was not only reflecting from the artistry but also from its shadow kaleidoscopic textury.

These are not the ordinary vessels, but in china such vessels are used for ancestor worship as a burial ritual with belief that they are connection between earth and god carrying offerings to the god to bring blessings to the earth.

Glass pieces are everywhere and about them nothing new,

But your arrangement made them special & amongst few.

The museum also showcases the art work of Japanese sculptor Oki Izumi, with touch of magic transforming the industrial glass  into magnificent artistry which labyrinth of reflections catches your gaze to get lost in its beauty.

Jag ghoomeya thaare jaisa na koi,
Ti amo ancora e ancora, adesso e poi,

With you yesterday, today & tomorrow,
Can't help as cupid hit me for you by arrow,

Loves everything about waves of ocean,
Even if it is found in the art at museum,

Ocean Love Ocean Love
Ocean Love Ocean Love.

First line in Hindi meaning : I wandered all over world but I have not met like you yet.
Second line in Italian meaning: I love you again and again, now and then.

He didn’t like to be photographed 😀

Such finest artistry called as Inro which Japanese used for carrying medicines.

An artistry is not only in its creation,
But also its effective & alluring presentation.

Wow that’s an amazing time in the museum, time warp into the 17th century, encountered amazing thoughts with about new culture and its hidden surprises. Museum has much more things, the one I highlighted are just small fraction of it. Curious mind is happy now and thought it’s time to exit.

You can see the panoramic view of the Genoa city with ocean on other side as the museum is located on uphill sloping down will deliver you close to city center to wide open Via Garibaldi which houses 16th and 17th century built ornate palazzi including Palazzo Rosso and Palazzo Bianco.

Started return journey and during the same encountered this villa so merged into the nature.

The house was out of reach and now has natural grace,

As the nature is holding it closely into its embrace.

As the place has romantic garden around the villa, someone mentioned his love for the nelly.
I guess one of the many definition of true love,

Is fear of losing something you don't even have.

So started sloping down but wait the place has still many things to explore, I told you it was kind of mini forest, and I decided to explore more, chose the unexplored way and started climbing up.

Being humble and noble at the same time.Wise trees touching the sky while roots in the ground.

Here you can see the other side of Genoa towards mountain.
Really now I am overwhelmed with surprises because all I thought it will be like other museums with some gallery of art or about some ancient stuff and its history, but I experienced beyond expectation.

Sometimes in the random moment of unexpectation,
You surprise yourself beyond expectation.

Now I explored the place very well so started climbing down with the nature and admiring its beauty with happy mind from the surprises.
Now what you think, is there anything more. My mind is full now with surprises and absolutely not expecting any. But there was one more surprise last but not the least, as I approached near the side gate which I entered from, the woman was playing her dogs and they were amazing. I thought to capture them with camera, so I moved forward to shoot video and guess what…

Emotional attachment & feelings are far beyond our perceivable senses.
The dogs were so friendly that it came to me asking to throw the ball. I was so amazed, laughing and happy as I could capture this moment live. Totally unexpected all I wanted to capture video of the dogs catching the ball, but instead I got the ultimate surprise of the day, that friendly behavior even though I was stranger to them.
What a day like a sweet cake with cherry on top 😊. Now I am at the side gate, decided not to exit from the same but exit from the main entrance gate. In the same time, heard whistle sound from the museum personnel to vacate the museum, perfect timing 😊.

stepping towards main entrance.

This is the main gate; I actually didn’t miss it, I passed by the same but didn’t thought this could be museum. 😊.

If you have seen Ben Stiller’s movie night at the museum, don’t know about night but I really had an amazing unforgettable day at the museum.
